The Pocket TimeLine is a full version of the Medical TimeLine implemented for the Pocket PC.  It is implemented as a fully web-based application, therefore it can be viewed through any web browser on any machine in addition to the Pocket PC.  To run the Pocket TimeLine from your current browser, please follow the link below.

In order to run the demo, select the value "2050004" from the drop down box for the patient name in order to propagate the search criteria for this pseudo-patient.  Then select one or more data sources from the Data Source list selection box.  Setting a specified start and end time to further narrow down the query is optional.  Finally set the time Granularity for the TimeLine that will result from the query.  If for example the granularity is set for Hours the TimeLine will be zoomed to be viewed by hour intervals and if set for Days, the TimeLine will be zoomed to be viewed by day intervals and so forth.  Once these settings have been set, click the Submit Query button to initialize the query.  Note that depending on the size of the query, processing may take a minute or two before the next page is displayed.

The following page will display the TimeLine of the data resulting from the query.  The left column displays the times with intervals at the granularity chosen from the previous screen.  The top row displays the data sources that were queried.  The body of the TimeLine will display the span of time in which a temporal event occurs in a colored box along with a clickable link at each box's center.  If there is a collision of events during a time span, a drop down box is displayed containing the list of links that overlapped in time.

If any of the links are clicked, a visualization window is generated displaying the image data.  Depending on the display mode selected, the data in the visualization may be manipulated in various ways.  If there is more than one layer or "slice" to an image set, the image itself can be clicked to cycle through the slices.
